REFUND POLICY

At Cognitrain Academy, we want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase and experience in our courses. We provide a 7-day money-back guarantee for all our courses governed by the following terms:

  • Write to Us Within 7 Days:
    If you decide that the program is not suitable for your needs, you must contact our team by writing to us at connect@cognitrainacademy.com within 7 days from the date of your purchase, by 3:59 PM PDT.

  • Limited Module Access:
    To qualify for a refund, you must not have progressed beyond the first module. Accessing the course content beyond the first module makes the refund null and void.

  • Course Resource Limit:
    Refund eligibility requires that you have not downloaded any course resources beyond those provided in the first module of the course. Once you access or download resources beyond the first module, a refund will not be issued. 

Upon receiving and reviewing your refund request, and if you meet all the conditions outlined above, we will process your refund using the original payment method. Cognitrain Academy does not control its payment processor and will not be able to expedite any refunds.

These conditions are in place to ensure a fair process for both learners and our educational platform. Please make sure you fulfill these criteria before submitting a refund request.

In all other cases, because of the extensive time, effort, preparation, and care that goes into creating and providing the courses, we have a no refund policy. Unless otherwise provided by law, you acknowledge that we do not offer refunds for any portion of your payment for any of our courses, and no refunds will be provided to you. By using and/or purchasing our courses, you understand and agree that, except for the limited refund policy described above, all sales are final and no refunds will be provided.

Please note: If you opted for a payment plan and you do not request a refund within the Refund Period, you are required by law to complete the remaining payments of your payment plan. After the Refund Period, all payments are non-refundable, and you are responsible for full payment of the fees for the course regardless of whether you complete the course. You will remain responsible for fulfilling the payment plan (if applicable).

Please be aware that we will NOT provide refunds for any request that comes more than 7 days after the date of your purchase. After the Refund Period, all payments are non-refundable, and you are responsible for full payment of the fees for the course regardless of whether you complete the course.

Chargeback Abuse Policy:

By making a purchase with Cognitrain Academy, you acknowledge and agree to our stance against chargeback abuse. Initiating a chargeback without valid grounds in accordance with our refund policy can lead to these consequences.

We take chargeback abuse seriously and have a zero-tolerance policy against it. Chargeback abuse refers to initiating a chargeback without adhering to our refund policy. Such actions negatively impact our business and integrity of our policies. Customers who engage in chargeback abuse will be disqualified from future refunds and may face further action. Since we have a clear and explicit Refund Policy in these terms that you have agreed to prior to completing the purchase of the course, we do not tolerate or accept any type of chargeback threat or actual chargeback from your credit card company or payment processor. 

If a chargeback is placed on a purchase or we receive a chargeback threat during or after your purchase, we reserve the right to report the incident to all three credit reporting agencies or to any other entity for inclusion in any chargeback database or for listing as a delinquent account, which could have a negative impact on your credit report score. The information reported will include your name, email address, order date, order amount, and billing address. Chargeback abusers wishing to be removed from the database shall make the payment for the amount of the chargeback.

Termination:

If you receive a refund of any purchase through this money-back guarantee, that shall immediately terminate any and all licenses granted you to use the material provided to you under this Agreement and the Company’s Terms of Use. You shall immediately cease using the material and shall destroy all copies of the information provided to you, including without limitation: video recordings, audio recordings, forms, template documents, slide shows, membership areas, social media groups limited to paying members, and other resources. If a participant violates any of our terms, we reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to terminate his/her access and participation in the course without notice and without refund.
